April Nickens serves as Chief Operating Officer of Democratic Majority for Israel (DMFI), where she has been a member of the executive leadership team since the organization’s founding in 2019. She oversees the organization’s operations, including finance, human resources, legal and regulatory compliance, governance, employee benefits, and administrative management. She also manages DMFI’s PAC and Super PAC operations, directing assets and ensuring compliance with federal election laws. Prior to joining DMFI, April built a career in political consulting, nonprofit management, and qualitative research as a RIVA-trained focus group moderator, conducting in-depth interviews on a wide range of public policy and political issues. Known for her operational leadership, sound judgment, and ability to build effective systems, she has played a key role in supporting DMFI’s growth and organizational success.
