Democratic Majority for Israel today announced that Eli Wald will join the organization as Chief Development Officer. Wald is a senior political and development strategist with deep expertise in fundraising for resource-intensive campaigns, PACs, C4s, and nonprofit organizations. He will lead DMFI’s efforts to expand and strengthen its national fundraising program in support of its mission to reinforce the U.S.-Israel relationship within the Democratic Party.
“Eli is a dynamic and accomplished leader with a proven track record of building and sustaining major fundraising operations,” said Brian Romick, President and CEO of Democratic Majority for Israel. “His deep relationships across the Democratic and pro-Israel donor communities, along with his strategic vision and experience, will be invaluable as we continue to grow and advance our mission at this critical moment.”
“I’m honored to join Democratic Majority for Israel and support an organization that plays such a vital role in strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship within the Democratic Party,” said Eli Wald. “I look forward to working alongside DMFI’s leadership and supporters to expand our fundraising capacity and ensure we have the resources needed to meet this moment and the challenges ahead.”
Wald is the founder of BlueFuture LLC, a boutique political fundraising firm that has raised more than $100 million for moderate Democratic and pro-Israel clients over the past three election cycles. Josh Shapiro, Third Way, and two of the primary pro-Biden super PACs.
Previously, Wald managed a division of Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s presidential campaign, served as a financial advisor and broker on one of the nation’s top-ranked private wealth management teams, and held senior roles at AIPAC and the American Jewish Committee.
