Today, Democratic Majority for Israel Board Co-Chair Ann Lewis made the following statement:
“We are deeply concerned that the U.S.- Houthi agreement appears to have left our closest and most targeted ally in the region, Israel, out entirely. In fact, the Houthis have already pledged to continue attacking Israel as they have been doing for more than a year. Earlier this week, the Iranian-backed terror group fired a ballistic missile that landed near Israel’s Ben Gurion airport, injuring some Israelis.
“This announcement underscores what DMFI has warned about before – despite the rhetoric, when it comes to actually supporting our allies, the Trump Administration is reckless and unreliable.”
