“Iran’s indiscriminate ballistic missile attack represents a dramatic escalation of the multi-front war Iran is waging against Israel. Simultaneously, one of the other fronts exploded with a terrorist attack in Tel Aviv that killed at least eight.
“DMFI mourns the victims, offers condolences to their families, and wishes the many wounded speedy and complete recoveries.
“Every person of good conscience should join us in condemning Iran for these attacks.
“Iran is the central player in this multi-front war designed to carry out its long-held commitment to eradicating Israel.
“Iran and its proxies, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and terrorist groups in the West Bank, have killed thousands and put millions of Israeli civilians – Jewish and Arab alike – in grave danger. They have also crippled and endangered international shipping.
“Iran’s continuing and dangerous escalation may trigger a wider, devastating regional war.
“We are grateful to the Biden-Harris Administration for ordering the U.S. military to help defend Israel, once again. That has only happened twice in history, both times under the leadership of President Biden and Vice President Harris. They sent a clear signal to Israel’s enemies that America has Israel’s back.
“Israel has the right and the duty to defend its citizens. Today and every day, we stand in solidarity with Israel as it works to defend itself from these attacks.
“To those in Congress who support blocking security assistance to Israel: Let today be a lesson and warning – now is not the time for such a deeply misguided and dangerous action.”
