Today, Democratic Majority for Israel made the following statement:
“We are appalled by the arson attack on Governor Josh Shapiro’s residence in Pennsylvania. This senseless act, occurring on the first night of Passover—a time traditionally reserved for reflection, family, and spiritual renewal-is particularly egregious. Such acts not only threaten the safety of individuals but also aim to disrupt and instill fear. We are relieved to see Governor Shapiro and his family were unharmed and thank the first responders who quickly jumped
into action.
“We stand firmly with Governor Shapiro. It is imperative that those responsible are swiftly apprehended and brought to justice, reinforcing our commitment to safety, unity, and the rule of law. Political violence has no place in our society – period.”
