The six-figure TV ad buy targets viewers in southeast Michigan, including Rep. Tlaib’s District
Today, Democratic Majority for Israel (DMFI) announced it is airing a new ad in the Detroit media market, which includes Michigan’s 12th Congressional District represented by Representative Rashida Tlaib. The ad highlights the congresswoman’s extreme anti-Israel positions and her shocking refusal to condemn Hamas terrorists for butchering Israeli babies.
“While the vast majority of elected officials — including President Biden, Vice President Harris, Democratic leadership in the House and Senate, and more than 90% of Democrats in Congress — support Israel’s right to defend itself in response to the brutal October 7th attacks by Hamas, Congresswoman Tlaib consistently sides with those who support Israel’s destruction,” said DMFI President & CEO Mark Mellman. “Rep. Tlaib’s positions are not just out of step, they’re dangerous: her proposed legislation would allow Hamas to remain in power and rearm despite its unprecedented and unprovoked slaughter of some 1,400 Israelis and despite its commitment to annihilate Israel.
“Israelis and Palestinians deserve to live in peace, dignity, and security — but that can never be achieved with Hamas’ genocidal, dictatorial regime in power,” added Mellman. “The people in the Detroit area deserve to know the facts about her positions. Our ad clearly shows her wanton disregard for the safety of the citizens of one of the United States’ closest allies, Israel.”
The six-figure ad buy begins airing on November 2nd, 2023, on broadcast and cable television.
