Donald Trump Jr.’s appearance with the bigoted host reveals the campaign’s ties to the far right
Democratic Majority for Israel President & CEO Mark Mellman today released the following statement:
“Candace Owens is a vicious antisemite — full stop. Her planned appearance at a rally with the disgraced former President’s own son on Friday betrays the Trump campaign’s desperate attempt to attract far-right support by appealing to antisemitic, anti-democratic, and extremist forces.
“Among many instances of spewing antisemitic hate, Owens has called hatred of Nazis ‘indoctrination,’ downplayed the Holocaust as a ‘Soviet tactic’ to traumatize children, promoted the conspiracy theory that Jews drink Christian blood, and defended fellow antisemite and white nationalist Nick Fuentes.
“Candace Owens has no business speaking at a rally for one of America’s major political parties, and we call on all Republicans to denounce her appearance with Donald Trump, Jr.”
