Today, following Republicans’ failure to pass a standalone Israel aid package in the House of Representatives, Democratic Majority for Israel President & CEO Mark Mellman released the following statement:
“Through incompetent leadership, cynical gamesmanship, and an ever-changing series of conditions, the Republican Party has killed aid to Israel at this critical moment for our ally.
“Make no mistake, the failure of the Congress to pass Israel aid long sought by the Biden Administration and Congressional Democrats is the fault of the Republican Party and its feckless leadership.”
