Today, Democratic Majority for Israel President & CEO Mark Mellman released the following statement:
“One of DMFI’s founding principles is support for a negotiated two-state solution to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. While terrorist attacks by Hamas, Hezbollah, and others have made that goal more difficult to achieve and pushed the timetable farther into the future, we remain committed to that approach.
“Meanwhile, as 79 hostages, including 6 Americans, remain locked in Hamas’ tunnel dungeons, we must stay focused on the second phase of the ceasefire/hostage agreement, as President Trump’s own envoy has urged.
“Instead, the President is calling for the forcible relocation of 2 million Gazans. That proposal is cruel, immoral, and impractical.”
