Following Vice President JD Vance’s refusal to disavow Tucker Carlson at the White House yesterday, Democratic Majority for Israel President and CEO Brian Romick released the following statement:
“When JD Vance was asked about a man who has used one of the largest platforms in American media to promote Holocaust deniers and antisemitic conspiracy theorists, he described it as a political disagreement between friends. At a moment when antisemitic violence and harassment are rising across the country, the Vice President stood at the White House podium and made clear that his loyalty to Tucker Carlson matters more to him than confronting the hate Carlson has chosen to spread. Jewish Americans watching that briefing saw exactly where this administration stands, and every Republican who claims to oppose antisemitism should have to answer for whether they agree with him.”
