Far-right Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, infamous for her antisemitic Jewish space laser conspiracy theory, is pushing an amendment that would strip $500 million in U.S. aid to Israel — even as Israel’s national security is threatened by Iran and its proxies.

This amendment goes against the policies supported by the vast majority of Democrats, the Biden-Harris Administration, and the current administration.
Former Secretary of State Antony Blinken pointed out how dangerous blocking aid would be when he stated, “Whenever there has been public daylight between the United States and Israel and the perception that pressure was growing on Israel, we’ve seen it: Hamas has pulled back from agreeing to a ceasefire and the release of hostages.”
