Mark Mellman, Democratic Majority for Israel President and CEO, released the following statement in response to Bahrain’s normalization of ties with Israel:
“From Bahrain and the UAE to Chad and Malawi, countries once at best skeptical of Israel are turning into friends. We salute the wisdom of all these nations in recognizing both the mutual benefits of strong ties with Israel, and Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state in peace and security.”
