Democratic Majority for Israel President & CEO Brian Romick today released the following statement:
“DMFI has consistently expressed concerns about steps that push Israelis and Palestinians further apart and make peace harder to achieve. That’s why we feel compelled to speak out in opposition to the Israeli security cabinet’s approval of measures that would increase Israeli control over parts of the West Bank which many see as part of a future Palestinian State. Steps such as these could risk further escalating tensions at a delicate time and could make regional integration between Israel and its neighbors harder to achieve.”
