To mark the five-year anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Accords, Democratic Majority for Israel President & CEO Brian Romick released the following statement:
“Five years after the signing of the Abraham Accords, we celebrate the remarkable progress in building bridges between Israel and its Arab neighbors. The UAE, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Morocco have proven to be vital partners. The Accords have ushered in economic growth, cultural exchange, and new avenues for diplomacy.
“While many challenges remain, the Abraham Accords demonstrate that dialogue and partnership are essential. The world must continue to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state in peace and security, and promote its regional integration.
“As we mark this significant milestone, DMFI discourages any steps that could jeopardize the Accords or Israel’s broader integration and calls on President Trump and the international community to uphold and expand the principles of the agreements, ensuring a more peaceful and prosperous Middle East.”
