Former Democratic Nevada Congresswoman Shelley Berkley is the CEO and senior provost for Touro University’s Western Division and the administrative and academic head of its Nevada and northern California campuses. Prior to joining Touro, Berkley was a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Nevada’s 1st District from 1998 to 2013. During her time as a member of Congress, Berkley was known as one of the strongest and most outspoken supporters of Israel.
